Designed as a glowing, lantern-inspired circular pavilion, Summer Pavilion brings a distinct sense of ceremony to the Fari Islands. Guests enter through a striking white moon gate and follow a garden walkway over a koi pond before reaching an open-air dining room suspended above the water. While many resort restaurants lean into casual beach aesthetics, this space feels intentionally architectural and formal. The menu focuses on modern Cantonese cuisine with a clear emphasis on technique, featuring dishes like stir-fried Maldivian lobster, wok-fried scallops in XO sauce, and crispy braised pork belly. The signature Peking duck is a centerpiece here, though it requires a 24-hour advance notice. With its disciplined kitchen and sophisticated atmosphere, it functions less as a standard resort stop and more as a dedicated evening event, rounded out by a curated selection of Chinese teas.
