Jackson Town Square.

Formally named George Washington Memorial Park, Jackson Town Square has served as the civic and social heart of downtown since the 1930s. The park is instantly recognizable by the massive arches of shed elk antlers framing its four corners—monuments first constructed in 1953 using antlers from the nearby National Elk Refuge. Bordered by historic wooden boardwalks, galleries, and legendary watering holes like the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, the square anchors the town's shopping and dining district. Depending on the season, the grassy center transforms to host a bustling Saturday farmers market in the summer or a public ice-skating rink beneath thousands of holiday lights in the winter, making it an essential, year-round introduction to Jackson's mountain character.
