Harveys Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino.
Tracing its history back to a humble 1944 roadside cafe with three slot machines, Harveys Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino has evolved into a massive, dual-tower resort straddling the Nevada-California line. Known as the area's oldest continuously operating casino, this South Lake Tahoe staple is currently undergoing a $160 million transformation to rebrand as Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. It remains fully open during the transition, offering immediate access to the Heavenly Gondola alongside a sprawling 88,000-square-foot casino floor. Rooms are split between lake views in the Lake Tower and alpine peaks in the Mountain Tower, while the dining scene draws crowds with high-profile spots like Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen, Wolf by Vanderpump, and the historic Sage Room Steakhouse.
