The SPARROW.
Housed in a repurposed 1966 motor lodge in downtown Boise, The SPARROW swaps standard roadside motel vibes for a highly localized, social atmosphere. The 68-room boutique property stands out with its open-air patio overlooking Grove Street, an outdoor wood-burning fireplace, and an active streetfront presence complete with a permanent food truck and an outpost of local roaster Form & Function. Inside, the design leans heavily on its Pacific Northwest setting, featuring custom infographic-style wall art commissioned from Boise artists that highlights regional history. Practical perks like a bicycle repair station, pet-friendly amenities, and co-working spaces cater to active travelers, making this hip midcentury revival an ideal, community-centric base for exploring the city.
