Hatta Hill Park.
Perched on the residential hills of Hatta at the foot of the Hajar Mountains, Hatta Hill Park is less of a manicured city garden and more of an elevated vantage point. Built in 2004, the rugged 64,000-square-meter park is defined by its rocky terrain and the 360-degree views it offers over the mountain village and desert landscape below. Visitors can climb to the summit's watchtower for the best perspective, or make use of the straightforward, practical amenities, which include shaded picnic areas, barbecue spots, running tracks, and a children's playground. Free to enter and notably cooler than the coastal strip of Dubai, it serves as a breezy, low-key stopover for a sunset view or a quiet lunch between more active excursions like kayaking at the nearby Hatta Dam.
