The Museum of Underwater Archaeology, situated in the historic Bodrum Castle, immerses visitors in maritime history with its extraordinary collection of underwater artifacts. This museum features 14 exhibition halls that showcase significant shipwrecks, such as the renowned Uluburun Shipwreck from the Late Bronze Age and the Serçe Limanı Glass Wreck, the oldest known shipwreck dating back to 1025 AD. The diverse exhibits include ancient pottery, amphorae, precious stones, and vintage weapons, with a noteworthy emphasis on the largest collection of Eastern Mediterranean amphorae. Beyond artifacts, the museum offers educational programs, seminars, and workshops, engaging visitors in underwater archaeology.
