Alavya.
Occupying the site of a former open-air cinema, Alavya is a collection of restored stone houses that feels more like a private village than a standard hotel. Located in the heart of Alaçatı, the property manages a rare trick: it stays steps away from the town’s bustling social scene while maintaining a secluded, slow-paced atmosphere centered around a lush courtyard orchard. Inside, the design by Hakan Ezer eschews corporate luxury for a curated, residential feel, featuring contemporary works from co-founder Erol Tabanca’s private art collection. Days here revolve around the pool, yoga sessions, and the Mitu restaurant, which serves Aegean-inspired dishes. It is a highly localized experience that honors the neighborhood’s architectural past without feeling stuck in it.
