Ton Kloi Waterfall Trail.
Deep within Khao Sok National Park, the Ton Kloi Waterfall Trail offers a proper full-day jungle trek rather than a quick scenic photo-op. The challenging seven-to-nine-kilometer path follows the Khlong Sok river through dense lowland rainforest, transitioning from easy dirt tracks to demanding, slippery terrain with river crossings and steep climbs. Along the way, hikers walk beneath giant ferns and mature canopy where macaques, hornbills, and gibbons are frequently spotted. The reward at the end of the grueling six-to-eight-hour round trip is Ton Kloi Waterfall, a single-tiered cascade that flows year-round. Its broad stone terraces and deep natural pool provide the perfect secluded spot to picnic and swim before making the long journey back.
