Bodegas Granbazán.
With its striking blue-tiled facade and French château silhouette, Bodegas Granbazán is one of the most visually distinctive estates in the Rías Baixas region. Founded in 1980 in the Salnés Valley, this neoclassical manor is surrounded by rolling vineyards of traditional overhead-trellised Albariño, interspersed with eucalyptus and camellias. Granbazán is a pioneer in the region, known for pushing the boundaries of the local grape through cold maceration and oak-barrel aging, resulting in complex pours that challenge the standard definition of a young Albariño. Visitors can tour the gravity-fed, semi-underground cellars, stroll the estate, and pair tastings with local Galician cheeses and tinned seafood. It is a highly scenic stop that feels like a historic country estate.
