Stargazing at Gharameel.
Stargazing at Gharameel takes you deep into the remote desert north of AlUla, where towering, wind-carved rock pillars create dramatic silhouettes against some of Saudi Arabia’s darkest skies. Recently designated as part of an International Dark Sky Park, this protected area is almost entirely free from light pollution, allowing the Milky Way and constellations to appear with rare clarity. The guided evening begins with an off-road 4x4 journey into the quiet desert, followed by an astronomy session led by a local guide. Afterward, guests gather around a campfire for a traditional grilled dinner under the open sky. On full-moon nights, the focus shifts to a moonlit walk through the surreal landscape. It is a highly atmospheric, well-organized way to experience the silent desert after dark.
