Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest.
Housed in a Neoclassical landmark dating back to 1873, the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard is a meticulously restored piece of Bucharest’s architectural history. Once the first hotel in the city to feature electric lights and an elevator, it reopened in 2025 following a restoration that preserved its original marble staircases, statuary, and soaring carved columns. Despite its monumental exterior, the hotel is surprisingly intimate, offering just 30 expansive suites characterized by high ceilings and bespoke finishes. Dining is centered around the historic ballroom at Boulevard 73, while Sass’ Restaurant & Lounge brings a more social, high-energy atmosphere inspired by Monaco’s nightlife. Set at a prime cultural crossroads on Calea Victoriei, it serves as a sophisticated base for exploring the nearby Opera House and National Museum of Art.
