Perched on a steep ridge in the Cima Corgo, Quinta do Crasto has been in the Roquette family for over a century, serving as a pillar of the Douro Valley's modern wine revival. The estate seamlessly bridges the past and the present, producing both traditional foot-trodden Ports in granite lagares and acclaimed table wines like the Reserva Old Vines. Visitors are greeted by a 1758 Marco Pombalino boundary stone at the entrance, but the atmosphere here is far from academic. The property’s standout feature is its striking infinity pool, designed by Souto de Moura, which juts out over the terraced vineyards toward the river below.
