Philippine Eagle Center.
Situated within the lush Malagos Watershed at the foothills of Mount Apo, the Philippine Eagle Center is a dedicated conservation and breeding facility rather than a traditional zoo. Spanning 8.4 hectares of simulated rainforest, this sanctuary is home to over 30 critically endangered Philippine Eagles—one of the world's largest and rarest raptors—alongside other native birds of prey, reptiles, and mammals. Visitors can walk through Talon Alley to learn the rescue stories of individual eagles or watch trained handlers demonstrate natural hunting behaviors during the "Raptors in Flight" presentation. It is a rare chance to see these majestic national birds up close while directly supporting the non-profit foundation's vital rehabilitation and research efforts.
