Bagh-e-Ibn-e-Qasim.
Spanning 130 acres along the Clifton coastline, Bagh-e-Ibn-e-Qasim is Karachi’s largest urban park. Built on the site of an old theme park, this massive public space is laid out in a formal, Mughal-inspired geometric design that contrasts sharply with the nearby Arabian Sea. Its most defining feature is how it integrates Karachi's colonial-era heritage, enclosing both the historic Katrak Bandstand and the pink-hued Jehangir Kothari Parade promenade, which leads to the Lady Lloyd Pier. Beyond these architectural landmarks, the fenced grounds feature wide stone pathways, a rose garden, a turtle pond, and distinct dinosaur murals. It is a highly managed, family-friendly space that offers a breezy, structured respite from the city's intensity, right next to the beach.
