Elva Hotel.

Opened in 2023, Elva Hotel is designed to feel less like a conventional lodge and more like a collection of modernist cabins floating above the landscape. Located just outside Voss on the banks of Lake Lundarvatnet, the property consists of a central building and five freestanding mini-houses perched on stilts. Each room is named after a local waterfall and features high-end Norwegian craftsmanship, from Wonderland beds to custom-built oak cabinetry. The architecture prioritizes the view, particularly in the glass-walled restaurant where the menu focuses heavily on regional ingredients. Beyond the design, the hotel serves as a functional base for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a wood-fired sauna, outdoor hot tubs, and a private shuttle to the nearby ski gondola and slopes.
