Galleri Lille Kabelvåg.
Do not let the name fool you: "lille" means small, but Galleri Lille Kabelvåg is actually one of the largest private art galleries in the Lofoten archipelago, spanning 600 square meters across two floors. Established in 2006 by artist couple Inger Anne Nyaas and Thor Erdahl, the gallery is deeply rooted in the local community—Erdahl himself grew up in Kabelvåg. Inside, the vibe is less like a sterile museum and more like a layered, lived-in creative world where Nyaas’s textiles and Erdahl’s bold, colorful Northern Norwegian landscape paintings share space with works by more than 200 other artists. It is an expansive, surprisingly deep showcase of contemporary regional art, making it an essential, easy stop in one of Lofoten's oldest fishing villages.
