The Lindis | Luxury Resort | New Zealand.
Tucked into the glacial Ahuriri Valley on Ben Avon Station, The Lindis is defined by an extraordinary slatted roofline designed to mimic the natural contours of the surrounding hills. This architectural camouflage allows the lodge to sit almost invisibly on the valley floor, where floor-to-ceiling glass turns the rugged high-country landscape into the primary interior decor. Accommodation ranges from master suites in the main lodge to secluded, glass-walled pods equipped with private mirrored decks and outdoor bathtubs for stargazing under some of the world’s darkest skies. The experience centers on the remote environment, offering guided fly-fishing, horse trekking, and 4x4 tours. Dining follows a local ethos, featuring seasonal New Zealand cuisine and private meals in the "Black Diamond" pavilion, all framed by views of the river and the Southern Alps.
