Maison Brummell Majorelle.
Maison Brummell Majorelle is a sculptural eight-room retreat located steps from the Jardin Majorelle and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Designed by Bergendy Cooke, the building is a sharp, contemporary interpretation of Moroccan vernacular, featuring pink-toned terrazzo walls that mimic the city’s historic ramparts. Inside, the aesthetic shifts toward high-design minimalism; custom wood-and-brass furniture, Gio Ponti hardware, and Italian lighting sit against a backdrop of smooth tadelakt and stone. The rooms are defined by deep arched alcoves and elongated balconies that offer privacy while nodding to traditional Moorish geometry. Despite its boutique scale, the hotel functions as a complete sanctuary, housing its own hammam, steam bath, and a heated plunge pool. It is an ideal base for those who prefer the quiet, villa-lined streets of the Majorelle district over the intensity of the medina, offering a sophisticated blend of local craft and international modernism.
