Perched on a dramatic mountain bend along the road between Kotor and Lovćen National Park, Bar Horizont is less of a traditional restaurant and more of an open-air viewing platform with a liquor license. The setup is famously stripped-back—don't expect espresso machines, elaborate cocktails, or a hot food menu. Instead, cold drinks are served straight from the fridge to accompany what is easily one of the most arresting panoramas in Montenegro. Looking out over the Dinaric Alps and the glistening waters of the Bay of Kotor, it is a prime spot for a sunset pitstop or a dramatic photo opportunity. It is an unpretentious, highly informal roadside oasis where the service takes a backseat and the sheer scale of the landscape does all the heavy lifting.
