Street Art.
Blender Studios is the beating heart of Melbourne’s world-famous urban art scene. Operating out of an industrial warehouse in West Melbourne, this research-and-production hub is a working collective of over two dozen resident street and fine artists, rather than a sterile gallery. Visitors can wander past active studios, catch artists mid-mural, and explore the experimental exhibitions at the on-site Dark Horse Experiment gallery. For those wanting to get their hands dirty, the studio hosts spray-painting and stencil workshops, alongside the Melbourne Paint Lab for abstract experimentation. It also serves as the launchpad for Melbourne Street Tours—guided walks led by active street artists that culminate in a behind-the-scenes warehouse visit complete with drinks and conversation.
