Kilohana.
Kilohana is a 35-acre working historic estate in Līhuʻe that functions as a lively window into 1930s plantation-era Kauaʻi. At its heart sits the sprawling 16,000-square-foot Wilcox Mansion, a Tudor-style showpiece designed by British architect Mark Potter and filled with original furnishings. Rather than a static museum, the property is a bustling hub of activity. Visitors can dine in the mansion’s courtyard at Gaylord's, sample local spirits at the Kōloa Rum Company tasting room, or browse onsite boutiques and art galleries. The agricultural heritage remains on display via the Kauaʻi Plantation Railway, which chugs through the estate's orchards and animal pastures, while the weekly Luau Kalamaku brings theatrical storytelling and traditional feasting to the grounds.
