National Museum of Cinema.

Housed within the Mole Antonelliana—the tallest unreinforced brick building in the world—the National Museum of Cinema is as much about vertical scale as it is about film history. Originally commissioned as a synagogue, this 167-meter landmark is the definitive symbol of Turin’s skyline. Inside, the museum's layout follows a spiral path through the history of the moving image, featuring interactive shadow plays, optical toys, and a vast collection of memorabilia. At the heart of the structure is the Temple Hall, where visitors can lounge in red cinema seats to watch film clips projected onto giant screens within the soaring central atrium. For the best perspective, a glass-walled elevator suspended in the center of the hall whisk visitors up to a 360-degree observation deck with views of the Alps.
