Cracco Portofino.
Occupying the legendary site of the former Il Pitosforo, Cracco Portofino bridges the town’s mid-century glamour with a sharp, contemporary culinary perspective. The Studio Peregalli-designed space feels rooted in the harbor, featuring a terrace that sits almost level with the masts of moored yachts. While the name belongs to Milanese chef Carlo Cracco, the kitchen is led by Mattia Pecis, who focuses on a moderately modern interpretation of Ligurian flavors. Notable technical touches include a dedicated cold room for maturing fish and the use of mountain-grown produce from the nearby Fescion Farmer’s garden. Between the Swarovski-designed porcelain and the panoramic views of the Gulf of Tigullio, it is a polished, site-specific destination that remains deeply connected to the local waterfront.
