Belleek Pottery.
Established in 1857 on the banks of the River Erne, Belleek Pottery is the oldest working pottery in Ireland and the global home of Parian china. The workshop is famous for a distinctive, iridescent porcelain that mimics the look of marble, often crafted into intricate honeycomb weaves and hand-painted shamrocks. A visit here goes beyond a standard retail stop; the guided factory tour follows a "16-hand" production process where every piece is touched by sixteen different craftspeople before completion. You can watch artisans fettle edges and hand-press tiny clay flowers, then browse the museum to see master molds that date back over 160 years. The onsite tearoom serves local blends on the pottery’s own delicate tableware, offering a tactile way to test the goods before visiting the showroom to pick up a piece of Fermanagh’s most famous export.
