Indira Point.

Indira Point represents India’s absolute geographic endpoint. Situated on the southern tip of Great Nicobar Island, this remote headland—formerly known as Pygmalion Point—offers a profound sense of isolation that is hard to match. Its defining landmark is the red-and-white striped Indira Point Lighthouse; once standing high on dry land to guide ships along the Colombo–Singapore route, the tower was partially submerged when the 2004 tsunami permanently altered and subsided the local coastline. Reaching this frontier is an adventure in itself, requiring a journey through the dense, pristine forests of the nearby Galathea National Park. There are no tourist crowds or commercial facilities here—only the quiet power of the ocean meeting the edge of the nation's territory.
