Porto Katsiki.

Porto Katsiki’s reputation rests entirely on its jaw-dropping geography. Tucked below the steep limestone cliffs of Lefkada’s southwestern coast, this dramatic half-moon cove is defined by the sharp contrast between towering white rock and the luminous, shifting turquoise of the Ionian Sea. Formerly accessible only to agile goats—hence its name, which translates to "Goat Port"—the beach is now reached via a steep staircase of around 100 steps carved directly into the cliffside. The shore itself is made of coarse white pebbles rather than sand, and natural shade is virtually nonexistent. While you will find seasonal sunbed rentals and a clifftop parking lot, the draw here is entirely visual. It is a raw, photogenic slip of coast built for swimming, snorkeling, and staring at the cliffs.
