The Wellem.
Housed in a 1913 neo-baroque courthouse, The Wellem anchors the Andreas Quartier in the heart of Düsseldorf’s Altstadt. The building’s grand facade gives way to an interior that functions more like a curated gallery than a typical hotel, featuring original works by contemporary masters like Jeff Koons and Julian Schnabel. Each of the 102 studios and suites is designed with an apartment-style layout, offering exceptionally high ceilings and full kitchens equipped with laundry facilities. While the historic bones remain, the atmosphere is decidedly modern and residential. Dining options are concentrated around the building’s inner courtyard, ranging from a casual Italian bistro for breakfast to a refined American steakhouse, all within steps of the city's Rhine embankment.
