Located within the Romantischer Winkel resort, Joseph’s Fine Dining overlooks Lake Schmelzteich through floor-to-ceiling windows, but the real view is the open kitchen. Chef Ralph Hollokoi brings two decades of high-level experience to this intimate space, where the barrier between guest and cook is intentionally removed. The service is personal and interactive; the chefs often plate and present dishes directly at the table, even brewing coffee bedside to finish the meal. The menus, ranging from six to eight courses depending on the day, follow the theme "The Harz meets the world," pairing local seasonal ingredients with global techniques. Dishes with titles like "Maisterstück" reflect a playful, individual identity that avoids fine-dining clichés in favor of a curated, staged experience.
