Artic TreeHouse Hotel.
Arctic TreeHouse Hotel trades the typical lodge aesthetic for a collection of elevated wooden cubes perched on a steep hillside in the heart of the Finnish forest. Designed by Studio Puisto, these minimalist suites function as private viewing pods, with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that frame the Northern Lights or the Midnight Sun directly from the bed. The architecture is intentionally eco-conscious, utilizing sustainably grown Finnish timber and green roofs that blend into the Arctic landscape. Inside, the vibe is high-end Scandinavian hygge, featuring fur throws, light woods, and sleek lines. The snowflake-shaped main building houses Rakas Restaurant, where local ingredients like reindeer and cloudberries are served under a canopy of pinecone-inspired lamps. While the location is just minutes from the kitsch of Santa Claus Village, the hotel remains a secluded, design-forward retreat.
