Gardner Bay.

Located on the eastern coast of Isla Española, Gardner Bay is a pristine, undeveloped stretch of powdery white sand and shallow turquoise water where wildlife completely dominates the landscape. There are no facilities here; instead, visitors share the shoreline with a massive, resident colony of Galápagos sea lions lounging on the sand. Snorkeling right off the beach reveals green sea turtles and vibrant reef fish, while the island's famously curious mockingbirds frequently land nearby to inspect visitors' gear. Offshore, the tiny islet of Osborn offers excellent deep-water snorkeling. Beyond its marine life, the island serves as a critical nesting site for thousands of Galápagos albatrosses, making this remote bay a premier stop for raw, uninterrupted nature.
