Michigan Science Center.
Located in Detroit’s Midtown cultural district, the Michigan Science Center (Mi-Sci) trades passive viewing for active experimentation. The heart of the museum is an expansive exhibit hall packed with more than 220 hands-on stations covering space, engineering, and technology. What sets Mi-Sci apart is its dynamic mix of live performance and cinema; visitors can rotate between interactive physics displays, live demonstrations on the Science Stage, and shows inside the planetarium, 4D theater, or giant IMAX Dome. Highly accessible and family-friendly, the center also hosts rotating temporary exhibitions and neighborhood-inspired installations. It is a highly tactile, high-energy space where touch and play are not just allowed, but required to get the most out of the experience.
