Golden Beach.

Spanning roughly four kilometers along the remote Karpass Peninsula, Golden Beach (Nangomi Bay) is one of Cyprus’s most dramatic and least developed coastal stretches. Divided by the small hill of Adatepe, this vast expanse is defined by towering sand dunes that roll up to 500 meters inland, shaped by persistent sea winds. Because the beach serves as a critical nesting ground for loggerhead and green sea turtles, strict conservation laws protect the area from resort development and beach camping. Visitors won't find bustling beach clubs or water sports here; instead, the draw is the raw, sweeping landscape, clear Mediterranean waters, and a quiet, low-key atmosphere that includes unofficial clothing-optional sections on its western end.
