bio&bio.
Located in the vibrant design district, this flagship bio&bio location prioritizes raw authenticity over typical retail polish. Set within a former bank, the interior strips away modern camouflage like plasterboard and suspended ceilings to reveal the building’s original stone work, pseudo-Gothic arches, and weathered brick. The aesthetic mirrors the brand’s organic ethos: pipes are exposed, walls are finished with eco-friendly paint, and the logo is hand-painted by local artist Modul 8 to minimize plastic signage. Beyond the shelves of 4,000 certified organic products and regional Croatian staples, the space functions as a social hub. An integrated organic café serves plant-based specialty coffee and vegan lunches, making it a functional neighborhood hang-out rather than just a grocery stop. It is a rare retail space that celebrates the beauty of imperfection.
