Franko’s Pizza & Bar elevates the Zagreb pizza scene with a dual-style menu focused on airy Neapolitan and thin, crispy Romana pies. Both variations use a slow-fermented dough aged for at least 48 hours and baked on imported Neapolitan stone. The kitchen is known for its inventive topping combinations, pairing classic Italian bases with unexpected additions like boar mortadella, pumpkin cream, wild asparagus, and pistachios. A dedicated vegan selection, alongside starters like arancini and burrata, ensures plenty of variety for different diners. Designed by architect Ivana Vrban, the moody, polished interior swaps typical pizzeria tropes for a cozy, upscale bar vibe, complete with a solid list of Croatian wines and craft cocktails.
