Tribute.
Tribute brings a highly localized yet globally minded dining experience to the Halifax waterfront. Located in the Cunard Building, chef Colin Bebbington’s 45-seat restaurant rejects stuffy fine-dining tropes in favor of an intimate, kitchen-party energy. Designed by MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects with locally sourced materials, the space centers on an open kitchen where guests can watch the culinary team cook over live fire and charcoal. The rotating menu highlights Nova Scotian ingredients through international techniques, featuring everything from hand-rolled pastas crafted with traditional Italian sfoglia methods to wood-fired proteins and playful late-night bites. It is a distinctively regional restaurant that trades in smoky aromas, clever plates, and front-row seats to the action.
