Tucked behind an 18th-century Rococo gatehouse in Antwerp’s historic core, Hotel Flora occupies a cluster of 15th-century merchant houses reimagined as a high-design sanctuary. With only seven rooms, the property feels more like a private residence than a traditional hotel. Renowned local designer Gert Voorjans has filled the medieval shell with a bold, maximalist interior characterized by botanical motifs, saturated colors, and wicker accents. The standout feature is the secluded courtyard garden, which provides a silent, green buffer from the surrounding city streets, leaving only the sound of the nearby cathedral bells.
