The Potlatch Club.
Occupying a secluded twelve-acre estate in Governor’s Harbour, The Potlatch Club is a meticulous restoration of a midcentury socialite haunt. After a seven-year renovation, the property has been revived with a design language that bridges 1950s glamour and modern Caribbean elegance. Interiors by Amanda Lindroth feature signature pink coral stone floors, checkered tiling, and whitewashed arches that frame views of a seven-mile pink sand beach. With only eleven keys—ranging from oceanfront cottages to a four-bedroom villa—the atmosphere is decidedly intimate. Days center around the Pavilion Bar and the Fig Tree restaurant, while the grounds offer a mix of wild Bahamian flora and manicured gardens. It is a sophisticated, low-key alternative to the busier hubs of the islands, favoring historical character and architectural detail over large-scale resort tropes.
