Albury's Sail Shop.

Located on Man-O-War Cay, this family-run workshop has been a staple of Bahamian craftsmanship for three generations. Housed in a modest building overlooking the harbor, the shop is operated by the Albury women, who continue the island's long-standing boat-building heritage by repurposing rugged sailcloth into functional goods. Visitors can often see the artisans at work, sewing and weaving behind the counter. The inventory is defined by its durability and vibrant colors, ranging from heavy-duty duffels and briefcases to hats and structured handbags. Unlike mass-produced souvenirs found elsewhere in the Abacos, every item here is handmade on-site. It is a rare, living link to the settlement’s maritime history, offering utilitarian pieces designed to survive the salt and sun.
