Zonda Cocina de Paisaje.
Situated within the historic Bodega Lagarde, Zonda Cocina de Paisaje rejects the generic tasting-menu formula in favor of a deep immersion into Mendoza’s rural identity. Led by chef Augusto García, the kitchen operates on the philosophy that fine dining begins in the soil, utilizing ingredients harvested directly from the estate’s organic gardens and olive groves. The experience is designed as a slow-paced journey rather than a standard meal; guests often begin with a walk through the vineyards or a regional cooking workshop before settling into an elegant, rustic dining room overlooking the vines. Multiple multi-course menus, such as the Cuyana and Pacha, showcase Cuyo’s flavors through refined techniques and delicate textures. It is a highly intentional space where sustainability and landscape are as central to the plate as the winery’s own vintages.
